What Position are you Applying For: Commanding Officer of Alpha ARC - Captain Fordo (A-77) Name: Reaper Time on server: N/A SteamID:  STEAM_0:0:145421830 * Why do you want to be a commander?: Lately I've been looking for some sort of entertainment to be frank. Quarantine has had me bored out of my damn mind. Gmod is generally my goto game when I can't find something to do. And because of this, I've gotten nearly 4k hours into it over the years. I'd say that about a third, if not more, of that time has been spent in CO positions of some sort. Whether that was control of Republic Commandos, ARC, or various elite groups in other genres (Such as SPARTAN's from HaloRP). Due to this I've been able to garner an extensive history of leadership and prowess in games like this. And being introduced to this server seems to show an opportunity to enlist my assistance by promising to provide a strong and capable SF operation; providing myself entertainment through combat/leadership. And providing you with a worthy ARC program.   What relevant experience do you have?: Over the last 6-7 years I've played on many, many different servers. And held positions that make me a strong applicant on a surplus of them. To name a few. 1. RC-1148 (Boss) on GGN CW {Held for 5 months until I resigned}   - This was a long held position which made me comfortable with squad tactics, and maintaining a strong connection with comrades. 2. ARC Lt (Reaper) on GGN CW {Held for a month until moving on to RC} - This introduced me to ARC leadership, and set me down the path of leadership on this server. 3. ARC CO Colt on Lightyear Gaming {Held for 2 months until server shutdown} - This was my first time controlling an entire spec-ops battalion. I acquired a mindset of leadership through example from this. 4. ODST SGT (Reaper) on Infrared HaloRP {Held for 1 month until server shutdown} - Being in Halo created an atmosphere that was a bit more serious then most SW servers. And it was also a lot easier to die. Made me more effecient in combat and able to employ guerilla tactics.                 There are more but I'd rather not flood the application with them. Those are just a few of many. * What differentiates you from the other candidates, why should you be a commander?:  When you decide the worth of a leader. There are two main components. Natural ability. And Experience. As I've stated, I have years of experience playing on servers like this one, and holding positions similar to what I am aiming for now; but what I haven't spoke of is talent. I've always been one to take charge. The type who likes to stand center and watch the progression of those around. I find it satisfying to create infrastructure or set goals for myself and others, and then see them through. And I've always been well able to do so. While I would not claim I am the absolute best, I would say that I am more then capable than most applicants you will recieve. I have knowledge through time spent in practice. And I have ability through my own skill. What is your availability?: Due to current quarantine practices, I'm pretty much available 24/7. Except for sleeping and eating I usually find myself sitting around. How skilled are you at making docs?: While I am not particularly fond of paper pushing and such, I am well accustomed to the processes of it. Describe your plans on what you will do with the battalion: For the sake of simplicity I'd put it out simply. 1. Create a game plan consisting of important strategies, and similar components to an effecient ARC program; including rules and regulations that I will expect of troopers. 2. Enlist a few capable troopers to the program and put them through strenous activity to see who is of stronger metal. Hopefully finding one capable to be my XO. 3. Train the troopers I have, while slowly adding to the ranks until I have a full squad. Removing anyone who can't handle their position. And hone the abilities of my men as best I can. 4. Maintain this and keep ARC as the epitome of elite. Once ARC is stable and on top, move on to help other battalions at elevating themselves. How much do you know about this battalion’s lore (1-10)?: I'd like to say a 10, as I can't think of anything I'm not familiar with. But one who says he knows everything is the one most ignorant to truth. I'll settle on saying a solid 8 or 9.  How will you run tryouts (be brief) ?: Tryouts will not be stupidly extensive, as I see this is simply a waste of time. Tryouts for ARC will be as so. 1. I will routinely ask COs if they have any troopers that seem especially capable, or will watch for seeing anything personally of them. 2. These men/women will be invited to a private screening. I will test them on their focus, accuracy, seriousness, and overall character. 3. Those with a viable personality will then run through specific training on advanced methods of combat or security (Such as bounding, Alternative push/pull overview tactics, etc.) 4. Those who make it through this training will enter a Cadet period. If they meet standards for a set amount of time, they will be part of the program. Do you agree not to advertise your application in any way, shape, or form?: I do. Do you promise to NEVER promote your troopers due to favoritism?: I do. Do you promise to Follow all Battalion rules and guidelines?: I do. Do you swear to NEVER promote Troopers in a Battalion that IS NOT yours?: I do.

May have worded poorly. I essentially am used to doing a handpicked method. Through which they enter a trial period as a cadet before I fully admit them as a soldier. 

Are those tryouts for Alpha ARC or just ARC in general, because you'd be in control of both.

Didn't know we were doing segment ARC. It would likely follow similar protocol, though I would alter it in accordance to the server's setup
